The goal of this conference is to bring together researchers, engineers, and agency representatives, to exchange innovative and practical research results and technological advancements related to bridge management and preservation. Egypt is one of several countries in North Africa and the Middle East region that operate a large inventory of bridges that need to be preserved and maintained in safe working condition by applying the best engineering practices and modern technologies for bridge evaluation and load testing.
