attractions within greater Cairo region include: Giza and Sakkara Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Cairo Tower, Saladin Citadel, Al Azhar Mosque, The Hanging Church, and many other world-class tourist
attractions. An excursion to Alexandria, by road or rail, is about two hours, and to the Red Sea coast, Luxor, or Aswan, by air, is about one hour.
